The ROBOESL international conference “Robotics-based learning interventions for preventing school failure and early school leaving ” is organised by Edumotiva (European Lab for Educational Technology). The conference explores the role of technology and educational robotics in particular as means for preventing early school leaving and school failure. It also emphasizes learning interventions and activities that support and enhance students’ creativity, challenge their imagination, provide links to real life and engage them in playful learning. The Transnational Meeting of the European SlideWiki Project will take place in Genoa, on 17 and 18 November. It will be hosted by the Genoa Research Area. The Agenda Meeting will pivot around the trials that will be carried out in all European Partners Nations to test the new Platform. Read more

Tens of thousands of school children in Europe, who may have no interest in technical subjects, change their mind as a result of these essential interactions. The interaction with robots complements the overall teaching experience and helps to motivate young people of any age to learn not only the basics of STEM, but also to direct them on to an independent exploratory, self-motivated learning path.
